Why do people get cancer?

Cancer is a very terrible disease. Nowadays, people are either not sick or cancer is detected, so everyone is afraid. There are many reasons why people get cancer. Heredity is due to genetic factors, age and environment. In addition, if one’s living habits are relatively poor, it is also easy to lead to cancer.
Tumor comes from the human body itself. Any organism other than viruses is composed of cells. Numerous kinds of cells in the human body perform their respective duties. These normal cells have a certain life span, and will gradually age and die. For example, the life span of liver cells is about 500 days, while the life span of red blood cells is about 120 days. This transition between the old and the new is orderly.

However, when some factors induce cells that should have died to continue to replicate and survive, the main reason is that when the cell’s function detected by itself is destroyed, it is unable to realize that it should withdraw from the stage of history, so it continues to replicate endlessly with false information, and the damage to this function is caused by gene mutation. This is the main reason why we get cancer.
In addition to the pollution of the ecological environment and changes in people’s behavior, such as smoking, drinking, tension and anxiety, gene mutation has a positive correlation with the aging of the population. That is, the longer one lives, the higher the risk of cancer. There is a saying that as long as one lives long enough, everyone will get cancer.
According to the average life expectancy of 74 years in China, everyone has a 22% chance of suffering from malignant tumors in his or her life. Therefore, everyone should know about cancer rather than be frightened by it.
